Opt out of scans

If you run a website and do not want the Elaichix scanner to scan it, we will stop. It is free and you do not need to give a reason.

How to opt out

  1. Email support@elaichix.com with the domain name (for example example.com). Writing from an address at that domain helps us confirm it is you.
  2. We may ask you to confirm control of the domain, for example with a DNS TXT record, before we add it. We reply when it is done.
  3. From then on the scanner refuses to scan that domain and every subdomain of it, including when another address redirects to it.

What is a scan

The scanner identifies itself as ElaichixScanner. A free scan fetches your home page and a few well-known public files, and looks up public DNS and certificate records. It does not log in, submit forms or send attack payloads. Deeper checks run only for a domain whose owner proved control.

robots.txt

The scanner reads your robots.txt and skips pages and files that it disallows for ElaichixScanner (or for all robots), apart from a few fixed files (the home page, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, security.txt). That reduces scanning but is not a full opt-out, so please email us if you want us to stop completely.
